Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may access and use NeedScout, including our subscription plans, opportunity briefings, and companion web app.

Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. Service overview

NeedScout provides product opportunity intelligence for founders, product builders, and small teams. The service turns public market signals, complaints, feature requests, and competitor gaps into ranked SaaS opportunity briefings.

Briefings and scores are informational research aids. They are not financial, legal, investment, or guaranteed business advice, and you remain responsible for your own product, market, and compliance decisions.

2. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including use by anyone you allow to access it.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are subscription services billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis unless stated otherwise at checkout. Your plan defines usage limits such as opportunity volume, saved items, category preferences, exports, and evidence access.

You may cancel a paid subscription from the billing area or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals, and your paid access remains available until the end of the current billing period unless a refund is approved under our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, scrape or resell substantial portions of NeedScout content, bypass plan limits, share access outside your authorized users, or use the service for unlawful activity.

5. Content and intellectual property

NeedScout owns the service design, software, scoring system, generated brief structure, branding, and curated analysis. You may use briefings for your internal research and product planning, but you may not reproduce or resell the service as a competing data product.

6. Changes and support

We may update the service or these terms as the product evolves. If you have questions about these terms, contact us through the Contact page.
